Pitchfork [7/19/09]




Sunday was Pitchfork. Usually summer concerts are heat-stroke hot, so it was
unusual that this year was actually...NICE. No one passed out, everyone's pee
was a healthy shade of yellow....UH. But Sunday's line-up was really great.
M83! DJ Rupture! Mew! Flaming Lipssssss! Too bad we didn't stay for "Yoshimi"
We opted out of the train stampede.

Yesterday our loved family friend finally got married. I think it's been nearly
ten years since I've been to a wedding and getting dressed up at home means
I get to borrow Mom's jewelry. I really should just invest in my own, but I'm
always afraid of losing expensive things. I'll just wait for the heirlooms, haha.

I'm still disappointed that there were no cute guys at the reception. Though
if white trash thugs were my thing, I guess I would have been in luck.

***I apologize for the people who can't read half of my blog, but my Japanese
is seriously pre-school grammar. Hopefully when my proficiency gets better,
I'll be able to write more ~seriously~
***Oh, and I probably will get a Flickr account sometime so I could just link
to bulk photos.
