So at this hour...August begins! And what better way to make it official than changing your desktop to an adorable cat! Though sadly this is not my cat...

The last month of summer seems to always go by so fast. Doesn't it? I feel like since the weather has been so moody this year, the feeling of "summer" hasn't really overwhelmed me. The other day I was in the car and I was shocked that throughout these months I have not heard one single cicada! Usually I would be more than thankful not to hear those little buggers but they are the essence of summer! Hot metal seat belts, sticky sweaty backs, fireflies, ice cream trucks...where were you guys? Where were you all summer? Or maybe I just didn't notice. I am a recluse after all.

On another note, today I saw "500 Days of Summer" with Laura. Joseph Gordon Levitt, can you just manifest your charm and good looks into a person I could actually, possibly meet in my lifetime? Thanks.





And so the beginning of the last month of summer has come.
